WOW its been like 3 months since I updated this thing...

anyway, school starts Feb 6th. I'm taking sign language, sociology, english, psych 102, psych 103, amd couseling 111. i have school mondays and wednesdays, and then on fridays i have to go to school for one class (50 minutes) and then come home. how lame. plus on mondays and wednesdays i have a block of like 5 hours between classes and i have no idea what im gonna do with that time.

more news..i decided to take a job at the coc bookstore =) it seemed like an obvious choice to me since i want to quit my job, and i already have experience working for barnes and noble. plus its right on campus so i wont have to commute and all that. and the moneys good. smart, eh? so basically i'll be spending my life at coc, but thats ok.

umm...i guess theres nothing else to update on..my lifes pretty boring. anyways, love you all. ttfn~

wow i havent updated this thing for a while..

aaanyways, life is crazy as usual. finally got to go to long beach for the weekend and see my favorite people (aka kevin and erik), so yay for that =) i had the best time there..it was hard returning to dullsville santa clarita. but ya. people need to call me and plan things! i havent seen hardly any of my friends in forever. that means you lyn.. ;)this week is gonna be hellish cuz i have to work every single day, but after that i'll be able to do stuff. anyways..love you all, hope to hear from you guys soon..

I hate that I don't have the guts to tell people how I really feel.
And the rare times when I do they do nothing but lash out at me and make me feel guilty for expressing my feelings. I've come to the realization that a lot of the people who I thought were my friends, aren't. It hurts me to think that if it wasn't for me always calling and making plans and basically maintaining the friendship I would probably never hear from them again. I hate one-way friendships.
I'm sorry that I have a lot of crap to deal with and that sometimes I want to talk about it with the people I'm supposed to be able to count on. I keep most of my drama to myself because I hate feeling like a drama queen, and I hate people getting annoyed with me. I guess "friends" will always let you down. Sometimes I just feel like no one understands where I'm coming from, and people are so quick to dismiss my feelings. I am very thankful for the true friends that I have, and this is not aimed at you, but there are those of you who act like you're my friend to my face, but behind my back it's a whole different story. It makes me wonder how many of my friends are like that.. I do my best to be there for people when they need me, and I make a sincere effort to be a good friend. Why don't I get that in return? I guess people are too wrapped up in their own frivolous crap to think about other people's feelings. Am I really not worth it?

I was sick all day yesterday, so I didn't go to school. Then at about 6:00 my aunt showed up (yes, the crazy one) to drive us down to brentwood to have dinner with my grandparents. We went to Tanino's (my absolute favorite italian restaurant, so i was happy =) ) and the gorgeous italian waiter was hitting on me..lol i love italians =) anyways, for a while everything was fine, then my grandmother starting drinking (as expected) and was being really offensive to my sister and i, so my mom got mad at her, and this big fight erupted in the middle of the restaurant. for those of you who dont know my grandmother..she has a nasty streak, especially when shes been drinking..not your typical cookie-baking, sock-knitting grandmother..lol anyways my mom and grandma were making a scene, so my aunt tried to calm them down, and just made things worse. finally the manager asked them to leave, and my aunt arranged for someone to drive my grandma home, cuz she was too drunk to drive. my grandma is extremely stubborn and refused of course. fortunately she got home safely. but ya, that was my night. whenever my family gets together something like that is bound to happen. i felt really bad for my mom tho, cuz my grandma said some nasty things to her and was threatening to hit her, and my mom was crying all the way home. another fun family reunion..=S oh, and my aunt decided to take our dog jessi, which no one mentioned to me until my aunt was putting her in the car, so that kind of sucked. so ya, that was my evening.
p.s. if anybody wants a puppy, let me know. we need to find homes for them.

Went to the movies w/ Kevin yesterday. I'm glad we finally got to hang out. Hey all! Wow, it's been a while...surprisingly I have nothing interesting to say =P umm school is driving me crazy, familys driving me crazier.. people leaving for college soon..so sad..=( I will miss you all! My cousin Mishka (yes Lyn, the "hot one" lol) is coming to visit tomorrow. I am sooo excited =D I havent seen him in like, 3 years. My moms going to San Diego for the weekend for so me RSD convention thing, so it's gonna be just me, Mishka and my sister all weekend! I am sick of backstabbing fair weather friends. I'm beginning to wonder if I have a single TRUE friend. Up until now I thought I had a least a couple, but those elite have disappointed me. They act like they sincerely care about me, and then as soon as a chance at popularity comes around they leave me in the dust. I never really realized until now that in many "friendships" i have, I am basically in a one-way friendship. I'm always the only one to call, only one to make plans, only one to take interest in their lives, etc. I feel like I'm forcing the friendship and its not a good feeling. I wish those people would just be honest and tell me that I'm not worth their time so I could stop with this false hope crap. You know who you are. I just wanted to let you know in a way that you wouldnt be able to get defensive and not listen, that I'm disappointed you could sink so low. Especially when I needed you most. c

Hung out with Lisa, Beth and Danny today. We saw Anchorman (which was surprisingly funny..totally random and bizaare, but thats why it was so funny. "Loud noises!!!" hahaha that retarded guy was endlessly entertaining) Anyway...then we went to Coldstone and got like 30 pounds of chocolate ice cream. My favorite guilty pleasure =) And theeeen we dressed Danny up in an evening gown...lol Oh, and Beth introduced me to Rite Aid. Yes, I'm a Rite Aid virgin. Well, was. It was quite an adventure. =) Thats about it...then I came home, took a shower, and now here I am, sharing my day with the world. This morning my mom, my sister and I put together a little family album thing. It was a cute little Kodak mom ent (hey, a pun. =) get it? kodak- pictures...i crack myself up. lol) Anyway we spent the better half of our day going through 30,000 pictures and laughing nonstop. I found some pics of a younger me that I will have to send to you guys. haha I found a pi c of Lisa from 7th grade, it's so funny! =P hehe luv ya Lisa.
Then I got a call from Jackson, my friend from Lancaster, and he's planning on coming down to visit in a couple weeks. Yay.=) Anyway, that's about it..I better get started on chores. Luv you a l l! Ciao~

Hey everyone! My internet still isn't working, but I'm at Lyn's house so I can update. Let's see...a lot has happened the past like, month..but I'm lazy and I don't feel like listing everything, so if you're that interested, you can ask me ;) Yesterday Lyn and Mike came over and we hung out and jumped on the trampoline =) On Wednesday I went to the mall/movies with kevin. that was fun, I'm glad we finally got to hang out. I'm gonna buy you that sexy hat kevin ;) And I'm getting my pictures printed today so I'll scan it and send it to you. Aaaanyways...other then that I've been dealing with a lot of fun drama as always. nothing new there. I'm probably going to see Harry Potter with Lyn today...and Lyn is playing Hey Juliet =) Well thats about it. When I'm not feeling so lazy I'll give the full update. 42 all!

Five more days till im an almost-senior! =D Here is my schedule for next semester, as of now:

the online health class i was supposed to take over summer is full. blah. now i have to take the actual course and actually get up and go to school in the morning instead of just getting up and sitting in front of my computer. dangit... oh well, i'll deal. im starting to wish i had gotten a year book..i feel all left out with everybody scurrying around to get their yearbooks signed...then again, i only know like 10% of the people at canyon, so why do i need pictures of the remaining 90%? lol most of my friends go to valencia anyway.
maybe i'll just do what i did in junior high: staple a bunch of pretty colored paper together and make my own ghetto yearbook =) hehe remember that lyn? i thought it was pretty clever..and definitely cheaper. so ya. all you guys have to sign my wannabe yearbook next time i see you so during the summer i can amuse myself reading it. =) well i gotta meet diana so i'll talk to y'all later. peace~

Have you ever noticed that there are some people you just..connect with? people who you feel truly understand you, people you can talk with for hours and hours and never run out of things to say, constantly finding yourself saying, "i know!"? people who feel and think almost the same as you, and you totally relate with. its weird, cuz those people arent always your soulmate or your best friend. it can be a random person you meet in history class, someone you never pictured to be "your friend." and also, oftentimes with your "real friends," there is no connection. or at least not a strong one. as much as you love them you dont have that. you cant fully and honestly relate and sympathize with them. and sometimes we try to force it, with people who either are, or who we really want to be, our friend. and its just not there, as much as you wish it was, and it cant be forced. its a strange phenomena.. maybe its just me. but today i was talking to someone i barely know, an aquaintance, and as we talked i realized how..connected we were. and this person is NOTHING like me. the opposite of me in fact. and yet, there it was.. it was like i felt totally comfortable with them, eager to express every feeling i had. i felt like i could completely be myself around them...even though i had only been talking to them for a couple weeks. and as different as we are..were the same somehow..i dont know, its hard to explain. but it made me realize that a lot of people i consider to be my good friends, i dont have that with. i feel like i have to put up a facade around my own friends sometimes, which is kinda sad. like i cant be myself... i dont know, just random thoughts buzzing around in my head that im translating into script. just curious to know if anyone else ever feels like that, or if im just crazy. lol for some reason i felt the need to express that...oh well, there ya go. enjoy your free viewing into the mind of caitlin. hehe

Congrats Diana!!!!!

Today I went to a study party at sara sterkel's house with me, sara, corey baitey and isaac cruz. Then we got bored with math so sara, corey and i went to the carnival at sara's church and rode scary spinny rides until we puked. lol that was fun. except corey and sara got on the same capsule thing and i got stuck riding with this little screaming girl that kept falling on me and practically broke my arm. corey was nice and bought me a cotton candy though, so im happy =) im still gonna fail the calc test though..lol oh well. thats what extra credit is for. bill bought a motorcycle and oh man it is so fun to ride. except when its cold and youre wearing shorts and a t-shirt.. or when you put your foot on the exhaust pipe. ouch. lol but other then that, it rocks =) i was so proud of myself that i didnt fall off. well thats about it i think..i gotta do hw so i'll update lata. cheerio~

Diana and Rowando rock! =) The Career Fair was fun, and so worth missing the oh-so-exciting history video. lol I found out tons of info about Masters, so im happy. Im gonna have to totally step up to the plate in school and extracurricular activites though, if i want to get in. the standards are higher then i expected. i got roped into yoga classes too by this way too enthusiastic yoga instructor with pink hair..lol ya, me doing yoga is a scary thought, i know. i cant even touch my toes. but dianas in it too so it might be fun. it was really funny, diana and i decided to go visit the fire dept section, since, ya know, were so into firefighting as our future career right? =P and when we got there there were about 200 girls and zero boys. lol it was amusing to watch all these ditzy girls pretend like they were interested in that line of work, and not just the sexy firemen. me and diana got to sit in the truck and diana "accidentally" got her foot stuck and had to be pulled out. haha why didnt i think of that? =P rowando was so patient with us dragging him all over the fair to see all the hot men in uniform. hehe i love you rowando...=) aaanyway i gotta get started cleaning my room or i'll be grounded for all eternity. 42 all!

Today was kind of a laid back day. I spent some quality time with my sister (the little one) and hung out in her room, eating chocolate and watching The Mask. lol I actually enjoyed myself. Sometimes time spent with family isnt a totally tortuous experience. But ya.. Congrats to Lisa on her impeccable driving test! Go Lisa! =D Not a single broken bone or totaled car. hehe Sorry to Becca that I couldn't stay longer, my mom was being mean so I had to come home and do chores. blah. We'll try again soon, I promise. And we can rent Kung Pow! haha that movie is so freakin' hilarious. Good luck with your master choral thingamabob kevin! I'll be there in spirit =) Well i gotta go my sisters putting on another movie and im in charge of rummaging for snackage. lol that was an interesting phrase.. aaanyway i'l talk to y'all lata. ciao-ness!

stuff..and things..and more things. cant WAIT until schools out. stressed about finals..lots of yelling and drama when desiree showed up today..i was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got majorly yelled at..god i hate drama. anyone want to switch lives with me? lol been kinda antisocial with becca so she probly thinks im mad at her..ugh. :S too much. and i have a killer anatomy test tomorrow that i havent studied for..my lock on my door broke so i cant even escape to my room now..blah. my grades are dropping. hypoglycemias acting up. what i wouldnt do for more then 3 hours sleep.. i apologize to all the people i was kinda hostile to in the last couple days, im just really stressed and really really tired. please dont take it personally. thank you to the people who have been supportive and patient with me, it means a lot to me. i guess its times like this when things are less then perfect that you find out who your real friends are.. the ones who listen to you rant until 11:30 at night and keep you from going insane =) hehe thank you kevin. whenever i can repay the favor let me know. i know im kind of a nightmare when im stressed out but i can be a pretty good listener =) well i better start studying so i'll talk to y'all later. mucho amor mis amigos!

Choir concert rocked. omg i had no idea kate sandeen was in choir!! haha that was hilarious :P congrats to all involved! omg i was all emotional during a couple of the songs, and i am never that emotional. like that song dedicated to the cancer survivors, and the last one to the seniors who are leaving. i was crying, and im like, i dont even know these people!! lol but ya. im glad i went. kevin you were so adorable! :P hehe my sister and i were watching you during the jazz thing and you were so into it, it was funny. =) i love your facial expressions. lol i think you should have had a big solo with a show-stopping number, but thats ok. :P did you notice your little fan club in the back? ..im pretty sure everyone did. lol they were very giggly.. but ya. the drummer guy was so hot!! =) haha why are drummers always hot..? aaaanyway, overall it was an awesome show with a lot of really talented people. i forget her name, but the one in the white dress who sang that really fast song was incredible. i wish i could do that. lol lyn, im sorry i wasnt able to take you to the concert but my mom is dumb like that, so oh well. hopefully my lj filled you in a little. anyway i better get to bed..i have to wake up at like 5 tomorrow :S love you all! toodles~

my last words, according to kevin's lj quiz thing. lol i was amused. wow..so much stuff going on all of a sudden..i miss my laid back, boring, predictable life. =( not all of it is bad though..i made a couple new friends in the last week. becca you are the sweetest! =) im so glad we started talking and getting to know each other. and diana, you rock! were gonna be hippies for the history project. go us! lol let me know as soon as you find out if the theater is hiring. that would be so cool if we got to work together =) finals finals and more finals. family drama. blah. i miss my friends.. =( i hardly get to see anyone lately cuz of hw and crap. omg it has been sooo long since i saw lisa. she needs to take a break from her gazillion extracurricular activities and hang with me. that sounds totally selfish but thats ok. lol ive been so antisocial lately...ive also noticed that theres a few people that i would never hear from again if i stopped calling them and making plans..kinda upsetting but oh well. life is so wonderful and such a pain in the ass. GOD i really need to sleep more. my insomnia is totally affecting my mood and how i function. im gonna be on antidepressants soon if i cant get more sleep. queer eye for the straight guy is my sole source of happiness. lol i luuuuv that show. =) i am going to marry the fab five. (as soon as i find a country where that is legal). a forced marriage between five gay men and a 16-yr-old psycho fan..shouldnt be too hard. lol omg did i mention lisa's b/f is so freakin' cute!!! i hate you lisa! he doesnt look anything like the pic though.. wow i am on an insane caffeine high right now. lol im starting to hallucinate.. uuuuugh term papers suck. isnt it fun when you have 8 pages to write and only 4 hours in which to do it? lol but other then evil demon hw, things are pretty good. i finally got a check in the mail from my car accident waaay back in ninth grade. the one where i busted the windshield with my head.. ya. lol lisa remembers :P i think its so funny how random people keep posting comments on kevin's lj asking to be his friend. haha dont you feel loved kevin? :P you just have that magnetic quality i guess.. lol aaanyways, for those of you who wanted a desiree update, she is now living with nick, her loser b/f and expecting in about 4 months. the good news is that theres zero chance of her moving back in, so ya, im happy. well i have to do more fun hw, so i'll talk to y'all later. toodles~

whew..feeling a little better about stuff.. i was just having a minor breakdown is all =) lol but im pretty much ok now. hope everyone had an awesome time at prom!!! you all better send me pictures! my saturday was spent sleeping, doing my homework and cleaning my room. lol fun fun. no regrets though, in my opinion prom is sooo not worth the money and planning and shopping and complications, BUT to those you did go i'm sure you had a good time =) hehe well i better work on my term paper..ew.. i'll talk to y'all later. ciao~

grr kelly got that stupid jingle stuck in my head..and fishes IS another plural form of fish. just accept it! lol and that "if i were gay" song is still stuck in my head too..lol i so want that on a cd. :P but aaanyways.. yesterday was fun- lyn and i cleaned her house and moved furniture around. then b/f drama, then more cleaning, and then mikes b-day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE!!!! and i am now supported by an iron lung because of the popcorn i burnt this morning..but other then that, things are good.=) lol my b/f is now frightened of lyn (already), and he hasnt even met her. lol i do appreciate lyn watching my back though, so thank you lyn =) if kyan ever pisses me off again i'll know who to send him to. and dont worry about me letting him off easy- its gonna take a lot of chocolate and flowers and apology notes before hes out of the doghouse. im way more mad at jessica then him though. she seriously needs to die...but hopefully she'll stop harrassing me now that kyan has talked to her. but enough of that... im ecstatic because i finally get to see lisa, who i havent seen since like, winter break. yaaay!! :D were hanging out at her house tomorrow and watching rocky horror! woohoo! lol then i'll spend the rest of the day doing my bloody term paper.. Wow I am sooo drained. I just got home from London at 7pm. It was a ten hour flight from London to Houston, Texas, then another four and a half hours to LA. In ECONOMY CLASS. :| lol ya that was torturous. I am so glad to finally be home.. actually I'm happy and sad at the same time. Sad because my wonderful wonderful England experience is over, and I must now return to reality and homework, but happy because I was starting to get a little homesick and beginning to miss my friends, and yes, even my family. lol
Well since I wasn't able to talk to most of my friends while in London other then Kevin and Lisa, I will give you all a quick list of things I saw and did: Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, performance in the Globe Theater (performed by me that is), lots of plays, (with sexy Irish dancers. yeeeeah baby ;) ), British Museum, Tower of London, cruise on the Thames River, changing of the guard, oxford, liverpool, stratford-upon-avon (shakespeares birthplace, etc), ancient roman baths, st. pauls cathedral, galavanting around the city with hot british guys (my favorite part =) lol) ummmm LOTS more that I cant think of right now because I'm dead tired. i have tons and tons of pictures and souvenirs to share with y'all so contact me asap so I can get them to you...did i mention British guys are HOT? lol *sticks tongue out at lyn* hehehe. the only problem is that my sleeping pattern is majorly thrown off now and its gonna take me a while to recover..and my mom is still making me go to school on monday. ew. :S but aaanyways..theres a lot of peeps i havent seen for a while that i would love to hang out with. you know who you are. :P in case you dont i will contact you. lol hope everyone had a fun spring break. i love you guys!! call me!
